Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Manufacturing Business Outlook Survey (MBOS), seasonally adjusted diffusion indexes. Angeloi is independent of, and not endorsed by, the Bank.
Monthly manufacturing survey in the Third Federal Reserve District: Delaware, southern New Jersey, and eastern and central Pennsylvania. GAF measures expected general activity six months ahead; GAC measures current general activity. These are regional business-confidence/activity indicators, not a national all-industry confidence index. Diffusion index equals percentage reporting an increase minus percentage reporting a decrease; negative and zero values are valid. Reference month is represented by its first day, not a release timestamp. Latest available period only; no historical import. Checked every six hours, health every 15 minutes.
