US merchant wholesalers, excluding manufacturers’ sales branches and offices, category 42, Census Monthly Wholesale Trade Survey (MWTS). Sales (SM) and end-of-month inventories (IM), seasonally adjusted millions of current US dollars, not inflation-adjusted volume. Monthly reference period start is not publication time. Estimates can be revised. A rolling six-month source query selects only the latest valid observation; no historical import. Private operator API key is never exposed in public JSON or source URLs.
